Billionaire Elon Musk has endorsed the theory that UFOs are a “new weapons program” hidden within the US government’s vast black budget.
The tech mogul recently told Tucker Carlson that he believes “we are the aliens” because he has never seen extraterrestrial life while running SpaceX.
“Unidentified flying objects” are one thing,” the tech mogul said in the interview, “but there are always a lot of classified programs going on: new planes, new missiles and stuff.”
His statements echoed those of the Pentagon itself, which reported that an increase in UFO sightings in the 1950s and 1960s had been caused by testing of advanced US spy planes and space technology.
But Musk promised to be the first person to expose extraterrestrial life, promising to post any evidence he discovers on his X social media site the moment he finds it.
Elon Musk told expert Tucker Carlson that “unidentified flying objects” are one thing, but there are always a lot of classified programs going on: new planes, new missiles and stuff. He opined that UFOs are probably not extraterrestrials but a top-secret ‘new weapons program’.
“I guarantee you that as soon as I see any evidence of aliens, I will immediately post it on the X platform,” Musk told Carlson on the expert’s new show, which is featured on the X social media site.
“It will probably be our number one spot of all time,” the billionaire added.
But Musk said he believes the UFOs now seen in the skies are classified military vehicles.
‘Where are the aliens? Why don’t I see them? Musk told Tucker.
“Many people believe we see aliens, but I haven’t seen any evidence.”
He went on to explain that SpaceX has more than 6,000 Starlink satellites in orbit and “never once have we had to maneuver around an alien spacecraft.”
Many skeptical commentators have long argued that UFOs could be classified as US military test aircraft or other next-generation craft such as the Silent Ventus drone.
The drone was manufactured by Florida-based startup Undefinited Technologies and generates thrust by ionizing air with custom-made electrodes.
SpaceX is also rumored to be building a network of hundreds of spy satellites under a classified contract with the US intelligence agency, the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), which may have been the secret weapons Musk was referring to.
But the comments from the on-again, off-again candidate for the world’s richest man sparked mixed reactions online, including from reporters responsible for exposing some of America’s most credentialed and high-profile UFO whistleblowers.
“So, Elon is saying that the United States Government has technology that can go from space to the surface of the ocean in seconds and at the same time perform turns at sharp angles without visible means of propulsion or wings and instantly disappear before your eyes of the pilots,” said one X. shared user.
‘Then why are you wasting money on #SpaceX?’
A UAP investigator said Musk sounded almost “exactly like Mick West” during the interview.
‘It makes sense. They are all on the same team,” commented Robert WR.
“They’re using the same words and the same method to say, ‘This is PROBABLY it,’ without any evidence.” They are hypocrites because that is what they accuse UFO COM of. of.’
But Musk is not the only one presenting the theory. In March, US officials said there was “no evidence” that the US government had found extraterrestrial life and that UFOs seen by Americans are simply objects from Earth.
While the public criticizes Musk on X for his comments, he has been consistent with opinion throughout the year.
In May, the founder of SpaceX said that people who believe there are aliens among us are the same people who believe NASA’s moon landings were faked.
Speaking at a panel titled ‘How to Save the Human Race and Other Light Topics’ at the 2024 Milken Institute Global Conference held in Los Angeles, Musk gave a similar answer to what he shared with Tucker.
Musk didn’t cite any secret knowledge for his assessment of Carlon’s program (above), only his management of a global satellite Internet network through Starlink. “We have 6,000 satellites in orbit and not once have we had to maneuver around an alien spacecraft,” Musk said.
“I haven’t seen any evidence of aliens,” Musk said. «And SpaceX, with the Starlink constellation, has approximately 6,000 satellites and not once have we had to maneuver around a UFO. (…) Never. So I said, “Okay, I don’t see any evidence of aliens.”
However, Musk’s network of 6,426 Starlink satellites currently orbiting Earth in September 2024 routinely perform evasive maneuvers to avoid collisions, as many as 275 such dodges per dayand to avoid other objects in space.
This week, Musk offered his best, unclassified assessment of what pilots and other military witnesses encountered when they reported on an out-of-this-world craft.
“If you had the top secret compartmentalized clearance, you would know about this new program,” Musk told Carlson as a hypothetical. So, you know, a pilot sees something moving fast and says, ‘Hey! I saw a UFO! ”
Musk continued, speaking in the voice of a hypothetical senior Pentagon official: “Yes, it was actually a new weapons program, but we can’t tell you.”
Musk’s doubling down on his stance this week was met with an equally jaded response from new Las Vegas-based KLAS-TV reporter George Knapp, who has made a career out of breaking UFO news since FBI raids on citizen guard dogs from Area 51 to the ‘Orb of Mosul.’
“Good news”, Knapp published to Musk’s X platform. ‘So when will they finally deploy those nifty Tic Tac (UFO) craft seen in 2004?’
The infamous Nimitz ‘Tic Tac’ UFO encounter of 2004 remains unsolved to this day, meriting a mention before Congress last summer when a US Navy pilot who was an eyewitness to the puzzling object in pill form testified before Congress.
