On Thursday, Elon Musk announced the appointment of a new president in place of him for the Twitter platform and the emerging “X” company, which will become its owner.
Musk, through his account on the social networking platform, expressed his enthusiasm “to appoint a new CEO for X / Twitter,” without revealing her name, stressing that she “will start her duties within about six weeks.”
“My role will move to Executive Chairman and Chief Technology Officer, overseeing Products, Software and Computers,” Musk added in a tweet.
Musk said in November 2022 that he expected to reduce his time at Twitter and eventually find a new CEO to run the social media company.
