She will become a mother for the first time later this month, as she is expecting a baby with husband Caspar Jopling.

And Ellie Goulding informed her fans about her pregnancy with a candid post shared on her Instagram account on Thursday.

The singer, 34, looked naturally radiant as she showed off her growing baby bump in a baggy T-shirt for the black and white photo.

Taking advantage of the full relaxation mode, the songwriter posed against her left hand while relaxing on a comfortable sofa.

The expectant parent showed off her clear complexion while going makeup-free and wearing her locks loose.

Earlier in the week, Ellie revealed she’s embracing her new figure before her first child arrives.

“I’ve always had a runner’s body and now I have a bigger butt!” Earlier this week, Ellie revealed she’s embracing her new figure before her first child arrives (pictured in 2020)

In an interview, the musician said, “A revelation: I’ve always had a runner’s body and now I have a bigger ass and these pretty nice tits!”

The fitness enthusiast also explained her pregnancy cravings, admitting that she has a fondness for canned sardines and Weetabix Minis, and has even visited McDonald’s twice in the past eight months.

About her eating habits, the pop princess added The Telegraph’s Stella Magazine[tinned sardines and Weetabix Minis] are not eaten at the same time … there were only two [times she went to McDonalds!’  

The Starry Eyed hitmaker also touched on discovering she was pregnant at eight weeks during a romantic trip to Italy for her first wedding anniversary. 

Ellie said: ‘I thought I had an iron deficiency and got blood tests, which came back fine but my progesterone levels were high… I then started struggling a bit with exercise. That was a sign for me something had changed.’ 

The award-winning artist echoed her comments when she announced her baby news with Vogue, sharing: ‘I want a better word than womanly, [but]- I have curves I’ve never had before. I enjoy it. My husband enjoys it.

‘Actually, I was no longer smug about how healthy my salads and my breakfast and eating nuts and seeds, and then I just wanted McDonalds.

‘And I was a little terrified, suddenly I wanted all the bad things! Whatever this baby did when it took over my body was like, ‘Hell no – I don’t want broccoli, spinach, collards! I just wanted sugar and carbs.’ ”
