Elle MacPherson, 59, Reveals the Secrets to Her Age-Defying Beauty: ‘It Has Changed My Life’
Elle MacPherson will turn 60 next year, but she often wows fans with her age-defying looks.
The Australian supermodel has attributed her ageless beauty to nourishing her body properly and supplementing it with natural vitamins.
Posting to her Instagram Story on Thursday, Elle shared an old interview of her on NBC’s Megyn Kelly Today talking about her diet and how she looks so perfect in her fifties.
“When I turned 50 I didn’t feel very good and I didn’t look very good,” Elle said.
“I noticed my skin, hair and weight… I just wasn’t feeling inspired, had sugar cravings and poor digestion.”

She continued: ‘So, I went to my nutritionist and told her to listen, something is wrong, I need to address my lifestyle.
“He said I was taking a lot of synthetic vitamins, so he prescribed me a powerful multivitamin, prebiotic, and probiotic powder.
“So I started taking it because I was a little malnourished and I wasn’t getting much sleep and I wasn’t eating enough fruits and vegetables and I was drinking too much coffee.”
The supermodel said that after being on this new nutrition plan for a month and taking this natural multivitamin, her life was ‘transformed’.
‘I saw such a huge change and my friend, who is now my CEO, was like, ‘What are you doing, you look amazing?’ and I told him that he was taking this green powder and it changed my life.
Elle’s dramatic transformation led her to start her own wellness empire and natural supplement business, WellCo.

This comes as the internationally renowned supermodel admitted that she never really liked modelling, but is grateful for the business opportunities it has brought her.
“I didn’t love modelling, but I love what it brought me,” she told ITV’s This Morning show last May.
“I love creating images and producing and directing art and seeing magic come to life and it’s been a beautiful means to an end for me because I travel and I’m independent and I’ve had a great career because of it.”
Asked if modeling has opened many doors for her that she otherwise wouldn’t have received, Elle said: “I think it’s about us going through those doors, those doors can be opened but by leaning on your heart, trusting your intuition and going “This feels good, I’m going to take a step towards it.”
