British actress Elizabeth Hurley and her son Damian will headline the celebrities at this year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival.
The glamorous couple will be at the Flemington track for two days as guests of the Victoria Racing Club.
This is the first time Elizabeth, 59, has returned to Australia in 11 years, having last been seen in Australia with her then-fiancé Shane Warne at the 2013 Australian Tennis Open.
The Austin Powers actress and her 22-year-old model son will enjoy Melbourne Cup Day and Crown Oaks Day from the famous Birdcage Enclosure.
The couple will also announce who are the best dressed and suited for the Fashions on the Field in the Park competition.
“Damian and I are delighted to be coming to Australia to celebrate the Melbourne Cup Carnival with the Victoria Racing Club,” Elizabeth said in a statement.
“Watched by millions of people around the world, we can’t wait to be in Flemington to experience the event first-hand and hopefully find a winner along the way,” he continued.
“We also look forward to all the fashion and entertainment that make this carnival truly unique.”

Elizabeth’s heart raced when she was last seen in Flemington with Warne in 2011.
And last month son Damian shared a touching tribute to Warne, to mark what would have been the late cricketer’s 55th birthday.
The handsome filmmaker and fashionista posted a gallery of throwback photos on Instagram that captured the “family time” between mother and son and the sports legend.

One gorgeous photo showed Shane posing with a young Damian.
Another captured Damian and his mother relaxing outside with Shane and their son Jackson.
The sweet pictures show the strong bond Shane shared with the young man during the three years Shane dated his mother Elizabeth, from 2010 to 2013.
Damian was born in 2002 to Elizabeth and her late ex-boyfriend, American billionaire businessman Steve Bing, who died in 2020.
He captioned the images: ‘Happy heavenly birthday, SW. We miss you every day.’
Many of her famous friends and family were quick to comment on the post, including her mother and Shane’s son Jackson, 25, who posted love heart emojis.
The British actress and model began dating the late cricketer in 2010 before getting engaged a year later and finally splitting for good in 2013.

Shane called his romance with the famous beauty the “happiest time of his life” and was upset things didn’t work out.
Fans will no doubt be hoping for a reunion between Hurley and Shane’s kids, Brooke, 27, Jackson, 25, and Summer, 22.
The king of spin tragically died of a heart attack at the age of 52 on March 4, 2022, while staying in a luxury villa on the Thai resort island of Koh Samui.
Hurley recently starred in her son Damian’s directorial debut, Strictly Confidential, in which his mother becomes enraged at another woman.
He explained that his son’s filmmaking began in childhood and Warne and his children appeared in many of his early films.
Melbourne Cup Carnival 2024 will take place in Flemington between November 2 and 9, starting with Victoria Derby Day.
Meanwhile, Lexus Melbourne Cup Day will take place on November 5, Crown Oaks Day on November 7 and finally TAB Champions Stakes Day on November 9.
