Elizabeth Hurley has revealed she plans to team up for another film with her son Damian – but this time she won’t be in front of the camera.
The mother-son duo made headlines earlier this year following the release of Damian’s directorial debut, Strictly Confidential, in which the actress, 58, takes part in a steamy lesbian sex scene with co-star Pear Chiravara. 28 years old.
The controversial thriller was ultimately attacked by critics who described it as a “horrendous drama” that unfolded like a “daytime soap opera.”
But, in a new interview, Damian revealed that his mother is already on board with his next feature film, albeit as a producer, while Elizabeth responded to the reaction to her racy scenes.
“I have the next script written… It’s a movie we’re preparing now,” Damián, 22, told Social Life magazine.

Elizabeth quickly interjected: ‘I won’t be in this one. But I’ll be a producer.’
In Damian’s directorial debut, Elizabeth plays a mother named Lily who hosts her daughter’s friends at her Caribbean estate a year after the mysterious deaths of her daughter and her husband.
During the trip, several secrets are revealed, including Lily’s love affair with her daughter’s friend.
Of the steamy scene between the pair, Elizabeth previously told TooFab: “Well, it was a very important part of the narrative when Mia, our protagonist, is on this quest to find out why her best friend (Elizabeth’s character’s daughter) ) committed suicide.
‘It was so integral (the narrative) that the actual physical filming wasn’t even something we really talked about. “We just knew that the impact it would have on the story and the rest of it was just our job.”
She insisted that the scene is not included simply for shock value, adding that she always stays away from films that have lewd moments to stun the audience.
Speaking to Social Life magazine editor-in-chief Devorah Rose for the Memorial Day cover, Elizabeth explained that the scene wasn’t as scandalous as it seemed.

“Damian had the idea that you can do something so sensual and interesting without having nudity, and not many people would have thought of that,” the Bedazzled star said.
‘There has been a lot of fuss about these scenes. But actually, there’s nothing gratuitous about it, there’s no gratuitous nudity at all, and I really appreciate that.’
Damian added: “I think there’s definitely a time and place for nudity in film, but I’ve never really liked it in sex scenes. I think it’s much more effective to have someone naked walking around drinking coffee in the morning in a scene.
“I just don’t like toplessness for the sake of being topless or nudity for the sake of being naked when it doesn’t need to be there.”
Elizabeth, whose film credits include Austin Powers and Bedazzled, appeared to criticize bad parents while praising her son for swapping gender roles in Strictly Confidential.
Elizabeth praised her son’s vision for the film: “Damian had the idea that you can do something so sensual and interesting without having nudity.”
In his next project, the young filmmaker will not direct his mother, as she confirmed that she will only be behind the scenes as a producer.
Damian changed the plot so that the father died and the wife remained.
“Well, it’s quite interesting to change the gender of the role because it changes everything,” Elizabeth said. ‘One of the most significant things that changed is that it was somehow more painful for the mother to be the one to betray her daughter’s trust.
‘Damian gave me a great role, because it’s something new to see. I never want to see a father behaving badly again, neither in real life nor in fiction.’
Elizabeth conceived her only child during a brief relationship with American film producer Steve Bing, shortly after separating from Hugh Grant in 2000.
She gave birth to Damián in 2002, but the businessman questioned paternity, claiming that at that time they had a non-exclusive relationship.
Although a DNA test showed that Steve was Damian’s father, he was not part of his life and it is believed that they never even met.
The businessman died in 2020 after jumping from the 27th floor of his apartment building in Los Angeles.
