Elgato makes an extensible rigging system for streamers and makers

Earlier this year, Elgato announced a lighting installation that can be attached to a desk to make it easier for YouTube makers, Twitch streamers and other online content makers to illuminate their home configurations.

Today Elgato takes that idea one step further Multi Mount, an extensible, multifunctional rigging system that makers can use for their lighting, cameras & microphones or whatever they want to mount.

The basic Multi Mount $ 49.99 can be extended up to 45 inches all the way, clings to a desk and has a central ball head with a 1/4 inch screw on which you can mount things.

If you want to pay for more accessories, you can have the Multi Mount do more: a "flexible arm" of $ 39.99 that can bend in three different places and has a horizontal reach of no less than 9.45 inch, a weighted base from $ 39.99 you place the Multi Mount on a flat surface and with a smartphone clamp of $ 14.99 you can clamp your smartphone (or anything else that fits into that clamp).

The Multi Mount seems to be a handy tool to get you the installation that suits you best, so you can easily do things like place a camera high above a desk for a video without a box or a microphone near their face for podcasting. However, if you want the Multi Mount with all accessories, it will cost you $ 144.96, almost three times what you would pay for the no-nonsense version.
