Ele-faint: family of elephants trying to wake up their dozer family member while sleeping on a road heated by the sun
- Family had slept on the road in Nakhon Ratchasmia, northern Thailand
- One of the group was filmed and was still on the road in the early morning hours
- The young family member tries to put it into action with his trunk and front leg
- But the only sign of life is a flap of his right ear if it stays
This is the cute moment when a sleeping elephant is lying on the warm asphalt of a road in Thailand while his family members are trying to get him up.
The elephants were filmed Monday morning in Nakhon Ratchasmia, in the northeast of Thailand.
The video shows the young elephant lying on the road while his four family members are standing by – and the only sign of life is a periodic flutter of his right ear.

One of the other elephants, who appears to be a calf, presses his trunk and then his leg against the back of his dozy family member – but the animal still doesn't get up.
Spectator Khun Kamron said that the whole family had been on the road earlier, which they like because it gets hot from the heat of the sun.
It took another two minutes for the elephant to get off the road in the video, he said.

& # 39; They fall & # 39; to sleep at night and wake up in the same place in the morning.
& # 39; But when I saw this group, one of the larger elephants did not wake up.
& # 39; It's like the others say to him & # 39; Come on, wake up now, we'll be late for work & # 39 ;.
& # 39; Frankly, I was very happy to see this. There are many elephants in the forest, but it is rare to see them that way. It is very special to see their natural behavior so close. & # 39;
