Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed why she returned to Love Island for All Stars, while making a thinly veiled dig at her ex Davide Sanclimenti.
The former winner, 30, who scooped the £50,000 cash prize with her ex Davide in June 2022, returned at the end of the highly anticipated launch show and once again walked in like a bomb.
Speaking ahead of her return, the brunette beauty said: ‘I want to come back to Love Island again because it’s where my journey started and it has a special place in my heart.
‘It is a place where I have laughed, cried and learned a lot. The fact that there is an opportunity to do it again, why not?
‘Why can’t a winner rewrite her story and get a second chance?! I think you should follow your instinct and my instinct is telling me to come back, so I’m listening to it.’
When asked what he was looking for this time, Ekin-Su revealed that he wants “someone who is not too self-obsessed and someone who is aware of flaws because we all have them.”
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed why she returned to Love Island for All Stars, while making a thinly veiled dig at her ex Davide Sanclimenti.

The former winner, 30, who scooped the £50,000 cash prize with her ex Davide (pictured above) in June 2022, returned at the end of the highly anticipated launch show.
In what could be a swipe at Davide, she added: “I would like a man who loves me when I’m in the worst possible mood but still understands why and doesn’t judge.”
“I would like someone to support me, I don’t care about looks or money; I want someone to be my biggest cheerleader.”
When it comes to red flags, the biggest one for Ekin-Su is “someone who sells the dream from the beginning, being perfect, because that’s not real.”
She insisted: “True love and connection begins with the journey, friendship and getting to know each other first.”
The Celebrity Big Brother star said she is “excited” about All Stars because it is “so different, so different to how we were before, we were all strangers”.
She gushed, “I’m excited to see how everyone’s trips have been and maybe some drama; you never know what could happen.” I’m interested to see how it develops. I’m a girls’ girl, so I’m also excited to make friends.
‘I love being a sexy, intelligent and classy woman. I’m fun and quirky and I think being an islander you can represent all of that.
‘It is not necessary to be the typical Barbie or Ken doll. You can feel confident no matter what you look like or where you’re from, and to be a true islander you have to be humble and real so people can relate to you.’
Lifting the lid on a successful Love Island couple she admires, Ekin-Su admitted she would love to find a relationship like that of Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow, who were on series three in 2017.

In what could be an attack on Davide, she added: “I would like a man who loves me when I’m in the worst possible mood but still understands why and doesn’t judge.”
She said: “I’ve always admired Jamie (Jewitt) and Camilla (Thurlow), they’ve had kids, he’s a no-nonsense dad, she’s a no-nonsense mum – they’re so cute I’m really looking forward to it.” I’d love a sensible man I can have fun with!’
Ekin-Su also took time to reflect on his previous journey on the ITV show, before embarking on his second attempt.
The star joked, “I don’t regret anything about season 8 and I wouldn’t change who I am.” I’m going to continue being me.
‘I’m more mature now and I’ve learned some lessons along the way. You may not react the same way you did a few years ago, or you may! We’ll never know until it’s there.
‘I have learned to take responsibility when the time is right, and I have learned to defend myself and have boundaries with kids and friends.
I also learned that it’s okay to be vulnerable with men; I always thought I had to be strong, but sometimes I’m allowed to cry and it’s not just about being strong.’
Ekin won over ITV2 viewers during her first appearance on the show, where she and Davide, who accused Ekin of being a “liar” and an “actress”, became known for their tempestuous romance.
After their bitter breakup last year, Ekin starred on Celebrity Big Brother but was branded “fake” by her housemates, with the reality star avoiding the show’s finale after an “awkward reaction.”

Ekin admitted to being in ‘survival mode’ and said she was carrying a lot of ‘baggage’ from her breakup with Davide, who was accused of being unfaithful during their relationship.

Ekin later admitted to being in “survival mode” and said she was carrying a lot of “baggage” due to her split from Davide, who was accused of being unfaithful during their relationship on multiple occasions.
But now, by returning to the show that made her famous, Ekin hopes to be herself again and finally find the right man to settle down with.
In December, a TV source told MailOnline: ‘Ekin-Su has been the number one priority for casting producers, they know fans would love to see her return to the villa.
‘She was so iconic during her first appearance on the show and now she’s single again at the perfect time.
“The deal is in principle closed, there are still some details to be worked out, but there is great hope that he will finally agree to have a second chance to find lasting love in front of the nation.”
“Ekin is also 30 now, she really wants to meet someone genuine she can settle down with and after seeing what happened with last year’s All Stars winners, she’s crossing her fingers she can be next.”
