While most of the world is still waiting to play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, producer Eiji Onuma has already finished the game 20 times, and he has some advice: “Don’t go straight to the end.”
Breath of the Wild has been praised for its expansive open world that encourages non-linear exploration, and Onuma says deep exploration is even more fun this time around.
Where he said in a recent interview published Nintendo: “I’ve played this game from start to finish about 20 times, and I can say it’s more fun with extended exploration, even more so than the previous game. When testing the game, I sometimes needed to rush forward to finish the story, but later on when I started Going sideways, I realized…it’s a completely different game!”
He revealed that he got to a point where he was surprised by the things he could do in Tears of the Kingdom. Despite finishing the game as many times as he did, he claims that he never got bored once.

He added, “Even when you put things together, there are so many different combinations that even I don’t know all of them, I even discovered something new the other day while shooting a gameplay video. So it may take a while, but when you take your time to explore and try each What you can in that time, I think you will be able to enjoy the game in your own way.”
