Eight people and a dog were injured after a balcony suddenly collapsed during an outdoor lunch that came out terribly badly.
The emergency services rushed to the house in O’Donohue Road in Anglesea, west of Torquay in Victoria, just before 2 pm on Saturday.
“It is believed that the group was lunch on the balcony when it collapsed, which caused the eight people to fall around 2.5 million,” said a Victoria Police spokeswoman for the Victoria Geelong advertiser.
“Three men, three women and two teenagers were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not mortal.”
Mrs. McLeod said that the state emergency service teams had cordoned off the area and a building surveyor is ready to attend the scene to examine the structural damage.
The Ses and Firefighters of Fire Rescue and Victoria, as well as the teams of the country’s fire authority are also on the scene.
More to come.
