Edinson Cavani wants to leave Manchester United at the end of the season and go to Barcelona.
That’s according to The times, who say the 34-year-old Uruguayan forward has a long-held desire to play for Barcelona before the end of his career.
Cavani’s Old Trafford deal will expire at the end of the season, although The Times added that he is curious to see how things develop for United under Ralf Rangnick’s leadership.

Cavani has been hampered by a tendon injury in recent weeks and has missed United’s last three games.
He will be absent from Arsenal’s meeting on Thursday, but Michael Carrick confirmed this week that the striker is ‘back on the grass’ and ‘working outside with strength and conditioning coaches’.
Cavani has scored one goal in eight games so far this season.
Should he choose to leave United at the end of the season, he will be available as a free transfer to cramped Barcelona.

Michael Carrick will be in charge of United’s game against Arsenal on Thursday night, as Rangnick’s visa has only just been approved.
The 63-year-old German will step down as manager of United at the end of the season and will start in an advisory role at the club.
