Actress Susan George was devastated when her 26-year-old husband, actor Simon MacCorkindale, died in her arms in 2010, aged just 58, after suffering from cancer.

Susan, a 1970s sex symbol who enjoyed intimate dinners with Prince Charles in his youth, says it has taken her until now, nearly 11 years later, to separate special items from him and put them up for sale at her new website.

“I have many special things from my late husband Simon,” says George. “This seems like the right time and the right reason to get a divorce.”

Proceeds will go to Lasting Life, a charity she founded in memory of the Casualty star, which supports people with cancer.
