The former England rugby captain hopes to knock Boris’ book off the top of the best-seller list with the tome he wrote with Alex Payne and James Haskell, the co-hosts of his sports podcast.
His is called The Good, The Bad & The Rugby Unleashed, and Tindall took to social media to draw comparisons to the former Prime Minister’s Unleashed.
In a funny post, Zara Tindall’s husband first pointed out that they both use the word in the title and said that Boris’s book is written by a “controversial blonde author” while his has a “controversial blonde co-author.”
This is believed to be a reference to fellow former England player Haskell, who hit the headlines last year when he split from his wife, Chloe Madeley, daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.

Tindall also says that Boris suffered a “political fall from grace”, while the authors of his own book suffered “the ultimate general fall from grace”.
It’s unclear what he’s referring to, but Tindall has plenty of options to choose from. He jokes that Boris’s memoirs include “stories of debauched parties”, a reference to the fine he received for attending a gathering during lockdown. Tindall’s book, he says, presents “libertine but legal party stories.” And he adds of both: “It makes good firewood.”
Boris and Tindall compete not only with each other’s releases but also with Prince Harry’s Spare, which was published in paperback yesterday.

Sue Johnston reflects on the drama of Generation Z
Royle Family star Sue Johnston, 80, admits to having second thoughts after agreeing to star in Channel 4’s new zombie apocalypse drama Generation Z.

Dave Green is creating the London Square Chelsea Pensioners Garden. Green-fingered veterans are getting involved and their ideas have shaped the design, including a touch of scarlet on the seats, which will be made from the pensioners’ recycled ceremonial uniforms.
