Alexa Chung, Poppy Delevingne and Princess Maria Olympia of Greece came up with a surprising way to stand out at Milan Fashion Week.

They coordinated their looks while watching the Gucci Fall/Winter 2024 show, with the three friends wearing matching burgundy shoes and outfits that showed off their legs.

While TV presenter Alexa, 40, and King Charles’ goddaughter Maria-Olympia, 27, wore £790 Gucci Signoria pumps, Cara Delevingne’s sister Poppy, 37, added height with a pair of £1,060 Gucci Horsebit platform loafers.

Poppy has remained close to Olympia since her romance with Greek royal brother Prince Constantine Alexios cooled.

Great BBC shocks Clive

Meeting your in-laws can be daunting, but for BBC star Clive Myrie’s wife Catherine, it was traumatic.

“My grandmother was in an advanced stage of vascular dementia,” the announcer recalls of a visit to Jamaica.

“She was taken aback when she saw Catherine, that white face… she said, ‘Shut your mouth, I’m not your slave’… words and ideas she heard while her father was working on the construction of the Panama Canal Zone. ‘

Myrie, 59, tells the Desperately Looking Wisdom podcast: “I knew it was the dementia talking.”

Do you want lies with that? Sophie’s hamburger tit

After almost a year of marriage, Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing continues to make discoveries about his wife and reality show co-star Sophie Habboo.

Laing, 35, a descendant of the McVitie’s biscuit family, says Habboo, 30, thought Ronald McDonald was a real person.

She explains: “My mother dated a guy who claimed to be the driver for Ronald McDonald back in the day. What was she supposed to think? He lied to me.’

Laing says: “Ronald McDonald, for those who don’t know, is a clown.”

Sarah’s adorable long, healthy hair!

Sarah Beeny decided to shave her head after losing most of her hair during chemotherapy for breast cancer.

After getting the all-clear last year, the Property Ladder star is now celebrating her hair having grown longer than her husband, artist Graham Swift’s.

In a photo shared online by Beeny 52, she is back to back with Swift, to whom she has been married for 21 years. The couple has four children.

“For the first time in a long time, my hair is longer than Graham’s,” she says.

Beeny has previously spoken of the strains placed on their marriage, saying they were “hanging on by our fingernails”. She admitted: “To be honest, I’ve been a bit horrible the last few years.”

Live Aid co-founder Bob Geldof, awarded an honorary knighthood for raising millions for famine relief, failed to impress Right Said Fred star Richard Fairbrass, known for the song I’m Too Sexy.

‘I was a minicab driver in the early 80s in Fulham. “Geldof and Paula had an account,” he says of Geldof and his late wife, Paula Yates. ‘I drove them many times.

She was a joy, he was the complete opposite. Rude, arrogant…she never tipped and left the car door open. Geldof declines to comment.
