David Furnish has spoken of his appreciation for the work of his godson Damian Hurley, 22, and hopes they will soon be able to work together.

Damian Hurley made his directorial debut this year with a film, Strictly Confidential, which features his mother, Elizabeth, in a lesbian sex scene.

His godfather, David Furnish, has spoken of his appreciation for the 22-year-old’s film and his hopes that they will soon be able to work together.

“I’m very proud of him as a filmmaker and very proud of him as a human being,” Furnish tells me at the Attitude Awards at the Roundhouse in Camden, north London.

“Maybe we’ll start something; I can produce and he can direct.”

At the ceremony, Furnish’s husband Sir Elton John received the Legacy Award from gay lifestyle magazine Attitude.

Scott gets married

Five years after I told how Four Weddings And A Funeral star Kristin Scott Thomas was dating journalist John Micklethwait, they exchanged vows.

“It was just a small family wedding,” a friend tells me. Dame Kristin, 64, who was previously married to French gynecologist Francois Olivennes, plays MI5 boss Diana Taverner in the TV drama Slow Horses.

Micklethwait, 62, edited The Economist before running the financial news agency Bloomberg.

Bill can’t get any satisfaction from LP

Former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman was unhappy with his surprise contribution to Hackney Diamonds, the band’s latest album, even though Mick Jagger praised his performance on the song Live By The Sword.

Wyman, 87, says: “Mick called me from France and told me how much he liked what I’d done, but I said to the producer, Andrew Watt, ‘Do you have another song?’ because I really didn’t like it.” . that clue they gave me.

“It seemed too busy, too much going on, there was no air.”

He complains: “It didn’t break, it didn’t breathe, it just got completely banged up.”

The rest of the band (Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood) have not forgiven Bill for leaving 30 years ago, after 31 years with the Stones and 19 albums together, he reveals, adding: “I have to tell you that I really, really I didn’t like that I left.

Jagger and Jerry’s daughter Georgia May is a mom

At the age of seven, Sir Mick Jagger’s son Deveraux can now expect to be known as ‘Uncle Dev’.

The Rolling Stones singer’s daughter, Georgia May Jagger, has given birth to her first child.

The model, 32, and her boyfriend, Cambryan Sedlick, 24, a Texas-born professional skateboarder, have named their son Dean Jagger Sedlick.

In the photo below, Georgia is accompanied by her mother, 68-year-old American model Jerry Hall.

Georgia May thanks Sedlick for “being so amazing and taking such good care of us,” and says of her newborn, “We are so in love and happy that we can’t stop looking at him.”

Chloe the good Samaritan

For any girl approached by a strange car at night, it could turn out to be good Samaritan Chloe Madeley, 37, daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.

When asked if she has become a voice for women since having her daughter two years ago, the personal trainer says: “All of a sudden I’m stopped on the main street trying to take teenage girls home because I’m, like “You’re not coming home in that suit; Get in the car now.”

Comedy congratulations for Queen Noor

Jordan’s Queen Noor says being mentioned as a “client” of Absolutely Fabulous PR executive Edina, played by Jennifer Saunders, impressed her children.

Dame Joanna Lumley, who played Edina’s friend Patsy, tells in the upcoming documentary Absolutely Fabulous: Inside Out on Gold TV that she once met “an attractive woman with very beautiful hair who said: ‘Hello Joanna, I’m the ‘Queen Noor of Jordan.’ I’ve been with my kids since your show came out… thank you very much.’

Food magnate cancels royal shooting

Restaurant magnate Alastair Storey, who scrapped a deal allowing the Royal Family to film on his land next to Balmoral, wants to knock down a derelict cottage next to the River Dee and replace it with a holiday home.

Under plans lodged with Aberdeenshire Council, Storey, who bought the 11,500-acre Abergeldie Estate for £23 million in 2021, will convert Drymills Cottage into a short-term let.
