The Dutch actress, 48, explains: ‘I didn’t force him, they have a good relationship, but it was a difficult time between us (her and Boris). I’m sure everything will be fine, but everything in life takes time.’
There is a 24-year age difference between Boris and his new wife, a political risk consultant. Lilly comments: ‘I wish him the best and hope it works out. It’s a shame I’m so young, because I’ve been there before.
Becker was found guilty of hiding assets worth £2.5m despite filing for bankruptcy.
He served eight months of a two-and-a-half-year sentence before being extradited to Germany in time for Christmas 2022.
