Meanwhile, the singer has previously attributed his success to hard work. He said: & # 39; Persistence takes you wherever you want. My father always said: & # 39; Nothing dared, nothing was won. & # 39;
& # 39; It was never, & # 39; it works or it doesn't & you don't stop until it works, actually. I applied it to the video Thinking Out Loud and rehearsed five hours a day and thought: & # 39; Why do I learn to dance? I make the music, someone else can dance. & # 39;
& # 39; But I went out and did it. If you think you should do something, but it's a risk, you just do it. If it's positive, of course. Do nothing bad! & # 39;

He told The Daily Mail: & # 39; I didn't have much to live for much of 2008 and the whole of 2009 and 2010, but somehow I made it work.
& # 39; I knew where I could get a bed at a certain time of the night and at any time I knew who I could call to get a floor where I could sleep. Helped socially. Drinking helped. & # 39;
& # 39; I spent a week sleeping in Circle Line trains. I went out to give a performance, wait until 5 o'clock at night when the metro is open, sleep on the Circle Line until 12 o'clock, go to a session – and repeat.
& # 39; It wasn't that bad. It's not like I slept in the cold streets. & # 39;
