Ed Sheeran takes time out from his busy Australian tour to visit sick children at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick – after serenading sick teens last week
Global superstar Ed Sheeran has taken some time out of his jam-packed touring schedule in Australia to surprise sick children at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick.
The Shape Of You hitmaker was spotted outside Sydney hospital on Saturday before taking his maths tour to the city’s Accor stadium that evening.
Showing off his colorful tattoos, the British singer-songwriter wore a white T-shirt, green shorts and Nike sneakers.
His crew – all wearing masks – was also with him as one carried his guitar for the impromptu performance.
The 32-year-old has made a habit of giving back to his young fans on a tour of Down Under, as he also surprised children and teenagers at Queensland Children’s Hospital last weekend.

During the hospital visit in Queensland, all her dreams of a teenage girl came true when she got to sing with the pop star.
Keasine Latu – who thankfully is now cancer free – was lucky enough not only to meet her idol and hear some of his greatest hits, but she also shared a special moment with him as they performed a duet.
She told the Today Show on Channel 9 that she was “so nervous” but it was the best experience of her life.
“I was put on the spot, the cameraman told him I could sing and it was in front of everyone, so I just started singing,” she told the programme.
“It was the best thing I’ve had in my whole life, meeting Ed Sheeran was amazing.”
A hospital worker said Ed “wanted to really be there” as he talked to patients before and after the stripped-back performance.
“He actually sat down, started chatting with the kids, finding out where they came from, their stories, which was really beautiful,” they said.

‘I choked a bit. I was so stunned because he was right next to me and he was singing and I was so nervous I forgot the lyrics,” said one spectator.
Ed has just completed three shows in Brisbane and is playing two concerts in Sydney this weekend before heading to Melbourne and Adelaide.
He was photographed on the beach in Byron Bay on Sunday with his wife Cherry Seaborn, 30, and their two children, Lyra Antarctica, two, and Jupiter, nine months.
Ed and Cherry are childhood sweethearts and grew up in the same town. They rekindled their romance in 2014 and got married in a small ceremony five years later.
