Cheeky Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn looked more in love than ever as they kissed at the Met Gala in New York City on Monday night.
The singer couldn’t contain his smile as he hugged his glamorous wife after posing on the famous red carpet, but he was clearly feeling quite adventurous with his kisses.
Within Celebrity extravaganza hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Ed also got up close and personal with his old friend Chris Hemsworth, who planted a kiss on her head.
The Bad Habits singer was also seen sharing his love with Cara Delevingne and Stella McCartney during the night as he and the model posed for photos kissing the designer’s cheeks.
Ed made his debut at the event walking the famous steps of the Met with Cara and FKA Twigs.

However, some fans quickly took to social media to mock Ed’s appearance while joking that he had to choose between basketball and singing, as his light blue tuxedo was similar to Troy Bolton from High School Musical.
They joked: “I can’t believe Ed Sheeran chose to bring Troy Bolton’s tuxedo from the HSM 3 prom scene back to life for the #MetGala.”
The tweet racked up more than 5,000 likes, and other social media users agreed that the tuxedo reminded them of prom suits from the ’80s and ’90s.
Others compared the striking blue suit to the iconic ruffled piece worn by Harry Dunne in Dumb and Dumber.

“This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of professional accomplishments and all have distinct style stories with the Met Gala,” Vogue shared.
The display case features approximately 250 items drawn from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection, and many of the pieces are too fragile to be reused.
All pieces will be displayed using elements such as AI, GCI and more while playing land, sea and sky themes.

“It’s very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu curator in charge of the Costume Institute, said of the upcoming exhibition.
“One thing I hope this exhibition activates is that sensory appreciation of fashion.”
Stars in attendance that night included Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Cardi B and Emily Ratajkowski.
Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham hosted, while YouTuber Emma Chamberlain was on hand to interview the stars on the red carpet.
Last year’s gala paid tribute to the late designer Karl Lagerfeld.
