Ed Sheeran has shared the reason he won’t be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show.
The legendary concert, usually watched by some 100 million Americans, saw many big names in the music industry take to the stage, including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, The Wknd and Rihanna.
However, despite being as tall as his fellow popstars, Ed, 32, feels people wouldn’t want to see him play in the Super Bowl because he doesn’t have the “pizza” to succeed.
speaking on Andy Cohen’s Deep & Shallow Podcast on SiriusXMEd said: “I think it would be the only way to do it if I joined somebody else.”
He added that it was more of an “American thing”, before saying: “I have no spice”. Like, all these amazing performers – I’m just not that. I won’t have any dancers on stage. I won’t have fireworks and blah blah.
