During an appearance on This Morning in January, Charlie surprised fans by revealing he had designed a new vibrator for women.
“I woke up in the middle of the night about four years ago and thought, ‘Why isn’t there a vibrator that goes around the clitoris, that goes around the vulva and doesn’t penetrate?'” she said.
“I came up with this idea and thought there must be something like this on the market, and then I looked around and there was nothing.”
Charlie also shared the news on Instagram, telling his followers: ‘So. The secret has come to light. I designed a vibrator. I know. Wild. I fought a lot to get this today. Four years of preparation. I started from where I was.
‘I asked for some clay. I talked to friends, product designers, anyone who knew someone who could help. I extended my hand. His name is U. And it’s about U. He’s won a damn prize!’
She said the idea was supported by Jacqueline Gold, CEO of racy lingerie brand Ann Summers.
‘I couldn’t be more grateful and proud… It’s so much more than just a vibrator. This is someone who wants to see what else they can do, fight their own fears and doubts, be curious and learn more about themselves, their body and their mind.
‘I was tired of not feeling comfortable with my body. I realized I didn’t know enough about this, so I went on a journey through the body and mind.’
“It’s powerful and I would love for you to participate in one too.” I am not a life coach or an expert on ANYTHING, and I do NOT always get it right. But I can share my experience. And maybe you’ll feel inspired too.”

‘So in recent years I have gotten to know myself and my fears in the most intimate way.
‘By deciding to stop drinking, I have learned to accept my feelings, not run away from them. I’ve leaned into everything that scares me: making big career decisions and starting my business, iampro, an online theater school that aims to make the arts accessible.’
She added: ‘I am a self-confident woman who can be plagued by doubts. But instead of trying to control the fear by distracting myself (i.e., having a drink), I now move toward it. “I see it as an opportunity to be brave.”
