EastEnders reportedly killed a main character during his 35th birthday special next month.
A source has claimed that in dramatic scenes a beloved character will undergo a creepy fate by drowning in the River Thames in the midst of a wild-boat party organized by The Carters.
According to Subway, the epic scenes will be filmed later this week and will be broadcast next month as part of the anniversary celebration of the show.

The source said: ‘There has been brewing in Walford for a while, and they decided that this was the perfect opportunity to see a big name.
“It is thought that Sharon will give birth as part of the dramatic scenes on the boat, but she is just one of many who could see herself go overboard to an icy, watery death.”
MailOnline has contacted EastEnders representatives for further comments.

The jubilee episodes take place over a 24-hour period as a guest on board the river ferry for a fun party.
It is thought that several characters are in the line of fire to be killed, including Sharon Mitchell, who is ready to give birth, along with her husband Phil, who is still aware of the news of her affair with Keanu Taylor .
As hosts of the party, both Mick and Linda Carter are also considered to be at risk of being killed, especially given that the couple’s marriage is about to reach the breaking point in the coming weeks due to the landlady’s heavy drinking.
Long-standing character Ian Beale will also be present, alongside his sons Bobby and Peter, played by the new actor Dayle Hudson.
Executive producer Jon Sen also said: “For the 35th anniversary we wanted to entertain the EastEnders audience on the iconic river that marks the start of the show for 35 years.”
Jake Wood – who plays Max Branning – recently gave fans a taste of the upcoming anniversary special, telling Digital Spy: ‘We clearly have Christmas on the way – and the 35th anniversary early next year. I think the fans will be happy with that.
“It will be one of the best things we ever get the chance to shoot. I have seen some scripts come up and they are great. The show is currently in a very strong place and I am really proud to be part of it. “
EastEnders will take place on BBC One on Thursday at 7:30 PM.
