Jessica looked fabulous in her black and white bikini, kneeling on a beach towel for the sunny snaps.

The former Neon Jungle singer went makeup-free for her day at the seaside, letting her natural curls hang on her shoulder.

She captioned the two photos, “My Bristol beach babe,” with a sweet nod to her beautiful boyfriend.

The social media post comes after Jessica revealed she felt one of her friends was “terminally ill” when she was told her EastEnders character was about to be murdered.

‘I felt like I had to mourn her’: In February, Jessica said learning about her EastEnders character Chantelle was like hearing a friend was ‘terminally ill’

In February, the actress said she was going through a period of mourning for her character Chantelle Atkins, who died in September at the hands of her husband Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith).

Speaking on Netmums’ Sweat, Snot and Tears podcast on Tuesday she said, “It kind of felt like I just got the news that a friend was terminally ill or something.

‘It’s my character, I should know better than anyone that it’s not real. I felt like I had to suddenly mourn my character, say goodbye to my character.

“I’d get dressed in the morning for the months before and I’d do things like put Chantelle’s wedding ring on and think oh my gosh, this is the last time she’s going to wear those kinds of things. It was weird.’

Jessica learned of her character’s journey in Christmas 2019 and thought the UK lockdown amid the Covid-19 crisis could have meant the storyline would have been extended, but she realized it was better for the plot to unfold that way as it did.

The actress – who appeared on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ late last year – admitted she felt her departure from Walford would be “worth it” if it leads to a woman escaping an abusive relationship in real life.

She added: ‘I was sad to leave EastEnders, but if it means a woman escaping her domestic abusive relationship, it was worth it.’

Jessica recently admitted she would be returning to the BBC One soap, despite Chantelle’s death.

She said, “I love EastEnders and if they called tomorrow and said, ‘Come back,’ I couldn’t refuse.”

What’s more, shortly after she left Albert Square, the star admitted she was “absolute” about leaving the show.

She wrote on Instagram: “Now that the dust has settled a bit, I just want to say… Personally, I absolutely have to leave the show.

I even miss these bits I thought I hated (that seedy toilet outside the police station with 20 million spiders)

“It’s all a dream come true. Without getting chatty, I owe SO many people my thanks for believing in me on my journey. (sic)’
