A powerful earthquake has shaken southern Australia.
The 4.2 magnitude quake struck Jamestown, in the state’s north central, about 200 kilometers north of Adelaide, shortly after 4pm on Wednesday.
One local said the impact could be felt “everywhere”, amid reports that the quake could be felt up to 50 kilometers away.
“It sounded like a train going down Sixth Street, no wonder my poor old house is collapsing!” the local wrote on social media.
