A 4.0 magnitude seismic earthquake shook parts of Southern California in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The earthquake occurred at 3:41 a.m. PT in Ontario with the epicenter near Ontario International Airport, according to the United States Geological Survey.
Initially recorded as a 4.3 magnitude earthquake, it was gradually downgraded to 4.0 and was followed by several small aftershocks, the strongest of which was 2.5, it reported. KTLA.
There are no reports of damage or injuries. Tremors were reported in parts of Los Angeles, Culver City, Redondo Beach, Santa Monica, Torrance and Whittier.

‘I’m in Eastvale and I was surprised it was only 4.1! It shook my house violently! “I felt like a car had crashed into the side of my house,” said another.
“In Fontana I felt it, I shook my door and I thought someone was knocking until the whole house shook,” a third person said.
‘I woke up in Claremont. On the second floor I felt like a car had entered my house,” said a fourth person.
California was rocked by three earthquakes in less than 24 hours on Wednesday.
The largest was a magnitude 3.0 earthquake that struck four miles northwest of Walker at 12:33 p.m. local time Wednesday, followed by a magnitude 2.9 earthquake that struck 10 miles northeast of Barstow at 10 :45 am local time.
And at 5:40 p.m., the state suffered another blow when a magnitude 2.6 hit two miles east of Pacheco.
