Eamon Holmes’ fans were shocked on Thursday when he shared a selfie revealing his new look on Instagram.
The GB News presenter, 64, uploaded the morning photo from the front seat of his car before traveling to Birmingham.
She gave the camera a sultry look while wearing a navy blue zip-up sweater and a pair of tucked-in sunglasses.
He wrote: «We left at 5.30…. Driving now through beautiful sunny Birmingham’.
However, while several fans complimented the presenter on his clean-shaven appearance, several followers claimed he had shared an old photo.

‘It is not a current photo; Yes, I thought I’d seen it before! The last one I saw of him was not at all flattering, he looked very aged; The same photo as July 11, right? Was it really that sunny today?
Others disagreed and wrote: ‘Beautiful photo; Television legend. Looking good; You can see it well! Have a great day, Eamonn.
An hour after sharing the first selfie, Eamonn responded to fans by sharing a second photo from his car, while eating a bacon sandwich, proving that the selfie wasn’t old.
He wrote: ‘Stopped at The Services – Bacon breakfast coming up!’
One fan asked: “Do we REALLY need to see this?”, prompting Eamonn to respond: “I’m only doing it because some people think I’m posting old photos!”
It comes after Eamonn revealed he “can no longer walk or look after himself” in a candid new video.
Following back surgery in 2022 for a herniated disc, the GB News presenter has been unable to walk unassisted and is often dependent on a wheelchair.
Eamonn took to Instagram alongside S Club 7’s Jo O’Meara, who contacted him after finding out about his spinal problems two years ago, as she had suffered the same crippling pain.

It comes after the Mail reported that Ruth had removed the stairlift from her £3.5million home in Surrey. The couple announced their separation earlier this year after 14 years of marriage.
Ruth installed the stair lift in January 2023 to help him get to bed while battling chronic back pain caused by herniated discs and a dislocated pelvis. He had had surgery four months earlier, but still needed help around the house.
Shortly after, family friend and television host Rylan Clark visited the now-estranged couple’s home. He posted a video of himself walking up the stairs.
In the emotional video, Eamonn admitted his former days of independence had come to an end as he pleaded with his followers to adopt a dog while petting Bella.
Eamonn, who used to share a rescue dog, Maggie, with his ex-wife Ruth, also revealed that losing the ability to walk also had an impact.
He captioned the clip: ‘Think about giving Bella a home. If I could walk and take care of myself, she would be mine, but you could be me.
‘Talk to @TheK9Angels. Absolutely lovely little dog.’
Her honest admission was met with support from her followers as her fans flocked to her comment box.
One wrote: ‘Oh she’s lovely.’ Hopefully, you will get stronger and be able to have another dog. cheryl’
