In addition to Declan, Eamonn shares Rebecca, 31, and Niall, 29, with his ex-wife Gabrielle.
He divorced Gabrielle, after ten years of marriage, in 1996, when the pressure of commuting to London to present GMTV from their home in Belfast took its toll.
Eamonn married co-host and wife Ruth in 2010, they share son Jack, 20.
It comes after Eamonn reunited with friend and former S Club & star Jo O’Meara for lunch, after she recommended a surgeon operate on his injured back.
The singer, 43, herself struggled with chronic pain that saw her spend eight days in hospital and unable to work, following a botched operation to remove an intervertebral disc from her back.
Jo took to Instagram earlier this month to share a photo with Eamonn after they met up to discuss their recent issues, joking that it was “lovely to bitch about their backs together.”
The GB New host previously wrote that Jo had recommended a surgeon who was able to help with his back problems, after experiencing excruciating pain following a fall at his home.
He went under the knife in September to relieve the pain, but is still struggling with “a problem with his left leg,” for which he is undergoing physiotherapy.

She wrote: ‘So lovely catching up on this one today @eamonnholmes, it was lovely to see you and chat (and moan) over our backs but always a giggle nearby! #together #friends #recovery #lunch.’
In an interview with The Daily Mail last month, Eamonn revealed that Jo contacted him via social media under the name of a German surgeon after he struggled with chronic back pain.
A scan revealed three protruding discs. “I still thought it would go away, but it didn’t. The domino effect was that I lost a lot of strength in my right leg,” he says.
“I got epidural, which helped to some extent, but didn’t solve the problem. I started using a cane, so life became more restricted.’
Things took a turn for the worse when he flew to Belfast last May to host an event in honor of a close friend, broadcasting legend Gloria Hunniford, and ended up in the emergency room of the city’s Royal Victoria Hospital, after suffering from spinal and bladder problems. and bowel problems.
Eamonn was immediately admitted for emergency surgery, but the surgery was postponed at the last minute.
“The surgeon stood over me, all masked and ready to operate, but then decided it was too complicated.

“The spine and all the nerves that come off of it affect so many other things, which he said needed to be addressed first. I was crushed,” he recalls. “I had been in severe pain for a year and I fervently hoped this would be the answer.”
Instead, he spent nine days in hospital before returning to England – to a full work schedule, culminating in live coverage of the Queen’s death in September.
“My left leg wasn’t doing well by now either,” he says. “I depended heavily on Isabel, who carried my weight and showed me around. It was horrible.’
He mentioned his problems passing on social media and was contacted by Jo.
“She contacted me to say she had the same disc problems I had and had just been operated on by a German surgeon,” he said. “I asked if she could pass on his details, because I was at my wits end by now.”
After contacting the surgeon, Eamonn went under the knife in late September. “It went well – the doctor cleared things up and overall the pain is gone, which is great,” he said.
