David de Gea shared a video of him keeping fit with his former Manchester United training squad on Thursday afternoon.
The former Old Trafford favorite was undertaking reflex and shot-stopping exercises with three coaches.
De Gea, 33, was released by United last July and replaced by Andre Onana after 12 seasons as their first-choice goalkeeper.
He has been a free agent all season but has vowed to get back into the mix and recently posted from Altrincham training ground, saying: “I’ll be back.”
In another video, which showed him performing reception exercises, stopping shots and claiming crosses, De Gea left the caption: “We remember him.” We rebuild. We come back stronger’.

The two-time Gold Glove winner had reportedly decided to stay in Spain and wait for an offer from LaLiga earlier this year, but his return to England suggests a more open mind.
Mail Sport reported in December that Newcastle were interested in him due to Nick Pope’s long-term injury, but would have demanded a pay cut.
His final contract at United saw him take home £375,000 a week.
He kept 17 clean sheets in his final season, three more than his closest competitors, but there was no resolution to a contractual standoff.
The Spaniard won five major awards with United, including the Premier League in 2013, and was named the club’s player of the year.
However, he was released and the club reportedly promoted Marcus Rashford to the salary De Gea had occupied.
His replacement Onana, who signed from Inter Milan for £47m, admitted he questioned his decision to join.
“It was really difficult,” he told MUTV. “But this is the first time I have faced such a situation.”
De Gea was United’s first-choice goalkeeper for 12 years but left his £375,000-a-week contract behind in the summer.
He was replaced by Andre Onana, a £47m signing from Serie A giants Inter Milan.
