“Whether or not a deal goes through is not material to us, we believe we have all the tools to continue navigating the future and driving the future of entertainment and competition in the market regardless of whether this deal goes through or not, and whether it does or not, we will continue to be the number one publisher on the platform. Microsoft.”
Wilson’s comments come amid ongoing speculation that EA may also be acquired in the future. The company was reportedly approached by Comcast, but the deal fell apart due to disagreements over pricing and structure.
