The British manufacturer is about to unveil the revolutionary Dyson V15 Detect, which is designed to trap 99.99 percent of dust particles as small as 10 microns.
Developed by a team of 370 engineers from around the world, the model has a ‘precision-focused’ green laser integrated into the suction head – meaning that the hidden dust on the floor surface that is usually invisible to the naked eye can be removed .

“As engineers, our job is to solve everyday problems, and the last 12 months have created many new problems with more time in-house,” said founder James Dyson.
‘We are all cleaning more often, trying to get rid of the extra house dust, but are desperate for peace of mind that our homes are really clean.
“The Dyson V15 Detect is both powerful and intelligent, providing the ultimate reassurance – scientific proof of a healthier, cleaner home.”
Other features include an LCD screen that displays the size and number of particles picked up and provides ‘real-time scientific evidence’ of a thorough cleaning.
The British manufacturer will unveil the cordless Dyson V15 Detect, which is designed to trap 99.99 percent of dust particles as small as 10 microns.
“Our latest vacuum cleaners use laser technology to reveal hidden dust, by integrating a diode laser into the vacuum cleaner that is positioned precisely at a 1.5 degree angle to create the best contrast between dust and floor,” said Mr. Dyson.
Designed for human and animal hair, the tangle-free conical brush bar moves hair away and into the bin, preventing hair from wrapping around the tool.
The new ‘High Torque’ suction head now has 56 ‘teeth’ resembling a comb. These small teeth prevent the bristles from tangling during cleaning and automatically remove the bristles from the brush bar so you don’t have to.
The Dyson V15 Detect Total Clean will cost you $ 1,399, while the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute Extra with HEPA filtration will cost you $ 1,469.
The new generation of cordless vacuum cleaners will be available for purchase on the Dyson website from May 27.
