Dylan Mulvaney has posted a provocative video celebrating 500 days of being a woman after Anheuser-Busch announced it was laying off hundreds of employees following its disastrous partnership with it.
The transgender influencer, 26, dedicated the occasion to her young self who “couldn’t celebrate so many awesome discoveries”.
She shared a clip with her 11 million TikTok followers on Wednesday in which she said she had always been female and stressed that she knew she was transgender when she was four years old.
It comes after Mulvaney shared a series of promotional messages featuring Bud Light beer cans with his face on them to celebrate his “365 days of youth” on April 1.
The partnership has seen Anheuser-Busch lose $27 billion in market capitalization since the March Madness ad.

The transgender influencer, 26, dedicated the occasion to her young self who ‘couldn’t celebrate so many awesome discoveries’
In a seven-minute clip filmed during a trip to Paris, Mulvaney said: ‘(Day)500 is dedicated to my younger self who couldn’t celebrate so many awesome discoveries because I just hoped I wouldn’t. to go out.
“Today is actually the 9,705th day of being a woman, because I’ve always been one.”
She didn’t mention the intense backlash that followed the Bud Light partnership, but said she “learned more since day 365 than I did in the entire first year.”
“If I do the content that I want to do and freely share my trans joy, I subject myself to a lot more trauma,” she added.
“So lately I’ve chosen to cut back on my intake to protect my overall well-being, and it’s working.”
“I’m pretty happy, but I’m not doing what I love, so it’s kind of a bittersweet thing.”
Mulvaney, who was born male, began documenting her gender transition in March 2022 in a daily series of videos posted on TikTok.
She talked about what she’s learned since the first year and said on Day 387 that she realized that “trust is something that has to be earned.”
On day 398, she discovered that “misery loves company” and Mulvaney learned that the hormone injections “worked better for me than the pills” on day 422.
Feminizing hormone therapy is used for those transitioning from male to female. It requires injections, once or twice a week, which help block testosterone and increase estrogen.
Mulvaney said: “It was really beautiful to see my body change.
“But something really ugly happened in the last few months where I started to believe that if I got really pretty and stayed quiet, I could still be successful.”
Her video has been viewed over four million times on social media to date.
Bud Light – once America’s favorite beer – lost its title of top-selling beer to Modelo following the controversial partnership with Mulvaney.

She worked with Bud Light in April as part of their March Madness campaign and received a can of light beer with her face on it – sparking outrage.

Its parent company Anheuser-Busch announced its decision to lay off about 2% of its U.S. workforce in a statement released Wednesday by Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth.
There are approximately 19,000 people employed by the company in the United States, which means that approximately 380 employees will lose their jobs.
“Today we have made the very difficult but necessary decision to eliminate a number of positions within our organization,” Whitworth said.
“While we never take these decisions lightly, we want to ensure that our organization continues to be prepared for future long-term success,” he added.
“These corporate structure changes will allow our teams to focus on what we do best: brewing great beer for everyone.”
The laid-off workers will receive severance pay, paid from their unused vacation, receive six months of continued company-paid health insurance benefits and help finding new jobs, according to an email sent to employees on Wednesday.
The restructuring will “simplify and reduce layers within its organization,” a spokesperson said.

The transgender TikTok star has shrugged off criticism since entering into a disastrous partnership with Bud Light to celebrate ‘365 days as a girl’
But the layoffs will not affect frontline workers, such as “brewery and warehouse staff, drivers and field sales representatives, among others.”
The move follows brewer Anheuser-Busch’s controversial April partnership with transgender influencer Mulvaney.
Since then, Anheuser-Busch has amassed more than $27 billion in market value and two of its top executives have taken “leave of absence.”
The company has faced a boycott from all sides of the political spectrum, though largely centered on conservatives.
Mulvaney hit out at Bud Light last month and said his lack of response to the backlash had “gave patrons permission to be as transphobic and as hateful as they wanted”.
She revealed that this led to her being ‘ridiculed in public’ and ‘feeling a loneliness that I wouldn’t wish on anyone’.
