Dutch Squid Game star kicked out of McDonald’s and assaulted by staff

Date:

A star of the hit Netflix show Squid Game was filmed the moment he claimed he was assaulted and refused service by a McDonald’s manager for “being American.”

American actor Jeffrey Giuliano – who played the protagonist VIP 4 in the series – was returning from a business trip in Lisbon, Portugal, when the incident unfolded on December 31.

The father-of-six, 69, said he visited the McDonald’s outlet during a connection to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol when staff allegedly refused to serve him a veggie burger.

It comes after footage of the actor and his son emerged in 2017 showing what the photographer claimed cut Giuliano in line at a supermarket in Thailand before telling him “I’m American, I do what I want, we’re the kings of the world.”

The final footage shows how an employee appears to approach Giuliano, who actually played Ronald McDonald on TV, before another man appears to raise his hand towards him.

The actor, who was in a wheelchair due to a knee injury sustained during a movie stunt, claims he was assaulted during the confrontation and has demanded an apology from McDonald’s.

He says he was diabetic and needed food at the time, and McDonald’s was the only food establishment available to him.

He told MailOnline that he will take legal action against McDonald’s and Amsteddam Schiphol Airport, where the accident occurred.

He said: ‘It was closing time right as soon as you saw me.

An elderly Indian McDonald’s cheerleader saw me, politely put me in line and pushed me forward.

However, when I started talking to my son Eden, the young manager overheard my American accent and suddenly they weren’t serving me.

When they realized we were Americans, they wouldn’t serve me. The whole thing was due to a bratty manager and another employee who clearly didn’t like Americans.

Giuliano says this is not the first time he has faced anti-American discrimination in the Netherlands, claiming it has worsened since Donald Trump was elected president.

He said he had another incident with his granddaughter where a woman in a store told him “why don’t you go back to America and Donald Trump”.

In this incident, as in Thailand in 2017, Giuliano was with his son, Aiden, who is now 15 years old.

He said his “very shy” son was upset by the two experiences and no longer wanted to go out to eat with his father.

I had a wheelchair for the trip there and back. I stood up and started filming when suddenly the manager and another employee became aggressive and headed towards my son and me.

If you look at the video carefully you can see where he hit me when the camera hit me screaming “this is assault”.

“If you look at the video carefully you can see where he hit me when the camera hit me screaming ‘this is assault’.”

No matter what the staff says, they served people before me and they served people after me, I was the only one who wasn’t served.

This is a case of blatant discrimination that turned into a personal physical assault at Amsterdam airport.

“Hitting people is not a justified way to deal with anything.”

Giuliano explained that he was returning from a business trip in Lisbon, Portugal to his second home in Thailand with a connecting flight in Amsterdam.

He visited a fast food restaurant for a snack and said he got to the front of the queue, people in front and behind him serving despite staff claims he had closed it.

“Of course that’s what’s most ironic since I was ’80s Ronald McDonald on North American TV, and I was a vegetarian at the time in disguise,” he said.

McDonald’s operators did not respond to requests for comment.

However, in a previous email exchange with Giuliano, they claimed that “the restaurant closed at 20.00pm”.

Giuliano said:

However, the video’s metadata shows that the video was recorded at 5:54pm and Giuliano’s flight with Dutch airline KLM departed at 8:55pm.

‘Thank you for your response,’ the company wrote, informing us of your visit on New Year’s Eve 2022 at a McDonald’s restaurant at Schiphol Airport, where, during a long layover, you and your son were unable to order food.

Please note that the restaurant closes at 20:00 on New Year’s Eve. Since you entered the queue before the cash register after 20:00, you can no longer place an order since the restaurant is officially closed.

The guests ahead of you had placed their orders before 20:00pm and thus they were served.

We have looked at the screenshots you have submitted to us and accordingly do not agree that the manager (or any other employee) assaulted, insulted or harassed you.

“The footage clearly indicates that they were filmed against their will and without their permission.”

In more dramatic footage involving the actor, from 2017, Giuliano is pictured at a Big-C supermarket in Pattaya, Thailand, appearing to pay in front of another customer.

The French arrival claims that Giuliano then threw about 25 items onto the conveyor belt which was in the area of ”ten items or less”.

He began filming Giuliano – until he told him he was going to share it publicly – who then let out a hateful rant in front of his wife and child.

“You don’t scare me with that camera,” said Giuliano – who was wearing several press cards with his name written on them – “I’m an actor.”

“I’m just waiting for the next round,” replied the Frenchman, “because what you said about America was very interesting.”

Giuliano, who is originally from Rochester, New York, was shown to become more aggressive when he started swearing and making moves towards the photographer.

He claimed that the photographer was a member of the paparazzi and followed him to the supermarket.

He said that he left the line in front of him to go and get bananas, then he came back to see the Frenchman taking pictures of his wife and son. 11 Then he wept because of the man

“I did what anyone would do and told him to spare.”

The video shows Giuliano saying, “Go f*** yourself, okay. Go f**k yourself, okay, let’s get it real. You can go f*** yourself, okay.”

“I’m an American, I do what I want, we’re the kings of the world, okay.”

”We are professionals *******. We have elevated our ******* universe to the highest possible ****** level in this world.

“I agree with you,” said the Frenchman.

Giuliano replied, “You agree, so we have a point of agreement. Now next time you mind your own business.”

A few moments later, Giuliano walked out of the crowded supermarket in the city’s South Pattaya area yesterday at around 6 pm.

Giuliano claims he committed the “ugly American act” in order to “finish” the photographer, whom he felt was hated for being American.

He said that McDonald’s workers did not know who he was while a Thai supermarket man filmed him because he knew he was an actor.
