A report indicated that Donald Trump was excluded from announcing his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania for Senate candidate Dr. Oz.
NBC News Advisers allegedly told the former president to step down announcing his intentions at the White House during the rally as he attacked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, by calling him “DeSanctimonious” and bragged about beating him at the polls.
His inner circle said it could distract from the Republicans’ bid to take over the House and Senate in Tuesday’s midterm elections.
But a source told the newspaper that he was “eager” to reveal his candidacy for a second term in office. DailyMail.com has reached out to a Trump spokesperson for comment.
Conservatives, including Mike Pompeo, blasted Trump for his tirade at DeSantis just two days before millions of Americans went to the polls.
Never get tired of winning. (Gov. Ron DeSantis) Conservative policies have proven successful. Florida is the best for it. Vote for (DeSantis), Pompeo tweeted.

Rod Dreyer, senior editor at The American Conservative, called Trump an “idiot” behind the attack.
“DeSantis is a much more effective right-wing leader than Trump has been, if you expect the leader to get a lot done, rather than just talking about it and owning up the free.”
Town Hall editor Jay Benson added, “When Desantis wins huge Tuesday, it will be in spite of Trump — not because of him, as Trump will try to claim.” Despite his innate and childish pettiness, he does Ron a favor.

Republicans are expected to make gains on Tuesday night, but the margin could determine Trump’s decision.
Popular Republican Gov. DeSantis has resisted publicly firing at Trump, perhaps aware of how tangled their bases are, but he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of challenging him in 2024.
His reluctance to do so infuriated Trump, who has been widely credited with DeSantis’ rise to political stardom from being just another Republican member of the House of Representatives to winning a close race for governor’s seat in Tallahassee in 2018.
But more recently, DeSantis has made a national name for himself with his outspoken criticism of the Biden administration’s COVID-19 precautions and other attacks, as well as legislation targeting LGBTQ youth.

Trump has not yet officially announced his intention to run, but he has dropped several hints showing where he is leaning.

Surprisingly, Mike Pompeo, Trump’s former secretary of state and potential rival in 2024, is among the first prominent Republicans to rush to DeSantis’ defense.

Axios reported last week that Trump’s inner circle is eyeing November 14 as the expected date for announcing a third bid for the White House.
Meanwhile, DeSantis delivers closing arguments for his re-election bid.
He is running for a second term for governor against Charlie Crist, a Democratic member of the House of Representatives who previously governs Florida from Tallahassee as a Republican.
Despite keeping quiet about his presidential ambitions, DeSantis has raised a whopping $200 million in war money for his 2022 re-election bid — a staggering amount for a gubernatorial candidate.
His Sunday rallies are part of his “Don’t Tread in Florida” tour.
