Dune: Part Two Heartthrob Josh Brolin, 56, has responded to online rumors that he wants to sleep with his co-star Timothee Chalamet, 28.

Josh recently went viral for writing a poem praising the qualities of several Dune: Part Two actors, including Timothee, Zendaya, and Florence Pugh.

But the lines about Timothee attracted the most feverish attention, such as the comment: “The way you hold my gaze makes me fear my own age.”

He also wrote: ‘Because something in me tells me that you are going to offer me something and, for now, I am no longer sure that it is going to be something I want.’

Social media went into a frenzy over the heated passage, speculating that Josh had sexual plans with Timothee, and now, Josh has shared his opinion. Vulture.

“I love that there was a poem that exploited the idea that I wanted to sleep with Timothee,” the No Country For Old Men heartthrob said with a laugh.

“I say, ‘Keep going.’ The fact that I’ve been around for 40 years and (Timothee) was someone who was like a young basset hound when I met him.

Josh explained, “It’s really a raw nerve and watching this trajectory of what it has become and what it will continue to be.”

Barbra Streisand’s stepson spoke of having “met Zendaya and Timothée, and then being attracted to Florence Pugh and Austin Butler, who I am absolutely in love with and with whom I have become very close.”

Of his younger colleagues he kindly said: “I love how much they respect the work and, at the same time, how much fun they have during work.”

Josh confessed: ‘It’s kind of selfish. We have to be here three months. “I can’t look at even a dark corner for three months,” he noted.

“So there’s a lot of fun, and then you come into this place, you do your job, and then you come out and have fun again. “I found that really satisfying.”

Josh’s poem was first made public in the book Dune: Exposures, a behind-the-scenes volume published to promote the long-awaited film.

Social media went into a frenzy over Josh’s overheated poem, speculating that Josh had sexual plans with Timothee, and now, Josh has shared his opinion on Vulture.

Josh described Timothee as “really a raw nerve, and watching this trajectory of what he has become and what he will continue to be”; the couple appears in Dune: Part Two

In the film, Timothee’s character Prince Paul and Zendaya’s Chani have a passionate romance, set against the backdrop of their rebellion against an evil empire.

Chani is a tribal fighter who in the first part was a mermaid of Paul’s dreams but who is now his comrade in an armed resistance struggle.

Paul has joined the desert tribe of Chani in their mutual battle against the imperial regime that oppressed his people and killed his father, Duke Leto (Oscar Isaac).

As Paul trains as a warrior, he comes face to face once again with his former mentor Gurney (Josh Brolin), who was his family’s former master-at-arms.

The film was originally supposed to be released last year on October 20, but due to several delays it finally hit theaters only this Friday.

A couple of postponements were implemented to avoid the release dates of other films, with the final delay being due to Hollywood strikes.
