Prince Andrew “has visited the Queen in Balmoral for billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein crisis talks.”
The 60-year-old Duke of York left the lockdown at Windsor, Berkshire, to rush to the castle in the Scottish Highlands to see his mother for the first time since July.
He is accused of failing to assist US prosecutors in their investigation of the financier and Ghislaine Maxwell.
A source told the Sun: ‘The Queen and Andrew will have a lot to discuss. So much has come out this summer.
“The Queen wants to be kept informed and will not return to Windsor until early October.”

Prince Andrew has been accused of failing to assist US prosecutors in their investigation of financier Epstein (pictured) and Ghislaine Maxwell
Prince Andrew’s sex attorney Virginia Roberts claimed last month that he played a ‘guessing game’ with Maxwell about her age when she was 17, before comparing her to his daughters.
Now known as Virginia Giuffre, the prosecution spoke out in a documentary series, Surviving Jeffrey Epstein, in which he claimed she met the Queen’s second son in London and described him as an ‘abuser’ and ‘not the prince of the fairy tale that you read ‘.
Ms. Giuffre, who says she was trafficked by pedophile financier Epstein, claims the Duke had sex with her on three separate occasions, including when she was 17, still a minor under US law.
Andrew has categorically denied having had any kind of sexual contact or relationship with Ms. Giuffre.
Ghislaine Maxwell, pictured in 2016, is currently facing six cases: four involving child sex trafficking and two involving perjury for lying under oath about the human trafficking in a previous trial.

The duke’s friend, British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, is awaiting trial in the US after being charged with acquiring teenage girls for Epstein to abuse. She denies this.
Ms. Giuffre said in a clip about Andrew, the father of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie: ‘Before he abused me, when we just met, Ghislaine is doing this guessing game and he guessed it right, I was 17 and he compared me to his daughters, saying, ‘Oh my daughters are a few years younger than you’. ‘
She added: ‘Prince Andrew is not the prince of the fairytale stories you read. Andrew deserves to get out. He deserves to be held accountable. He is an abuser. ‘
“She would be perfect for Jeffrey!” Ghislaine Maxwell ‘wanted to recruit young Paris Hilton for Epstein after seeing her at a party’
Ghislaine Maxwell wanted to recruit Paris Hilton for Jeffrey Epstein after seeing her for the first time, a former friend of the British socialite claims.
Christopher Mason said Maxwell, 58, stopped and said, ‘Oh my God’ when she saw a young Hilton at a party.
Maxwell said she would be “perfect for Jeffrey” and asked a friend, “Can you introduce us?”
Mason, a British journalist from New York who has known Maxwell since the 1980s, has not named a date for the meeting.
But it appears to have been around the year 2000 when Hilton signed on to Donald Trump’s modeling agency, T-management, and began her ascent to celebrity.
At the time, she would be 19 years old and about to become a star.
Mason told the story for a new docuseries called Surviving Jeffrey Epstein, which aired earlier this month on US TV channel Lifetime.
Mason said, ‘A friend of mine was at a party and Ghislaine said,’ Oh my god, who is that? And looked at this beautiful, younger teenage girl.
She said, “Do you know her?” ‘
My girlfriend said, ‘Yes, her name is Paris Hilton’ and Ghislaine said, ‘Ohhhh, she would be perfect for Jeffrey. Can you introduce us? ”
Maxwell is accused of being Epstein’s main recruiter buying teenage girls for his sex trafficking operation.
Lady Victoria Hervey, previously friends with Andrew and Maxwell, told the program that friendship with Epstein provided the Duke with some form of escapism.
She said: ‘Jeffrey absolutely loved the idea of being friends with the Queen’s son and Prince Andrew had just divorced.
“There’s an American billionaire who wants to fly him around the world and introduce him to people, and it was probably an escapism for him.”
Christopher Mason, a journalist and also a former friend of Maxwell’s, said he once ran into Andrew and Maxwell while walking down Madison Avenue in New York.
Mr. Mason said, “He told me he was staying at Jeffrey’s mansion. That kind of fascinated me. It just seemed like some perfect example of the kind of people Jeffrey got along with. ‘
Andrew stepped down from royal public life in November after his disastrous BBC Newsnight interview, which had led to criticism of a lack of empathy for Epstein’s victims and a lack of regret over his friendship with the convicted sex offender.
Maxwell, 58, has pleaded not guilty to helping Epstein recruit and ultimately abuse three girls, whom prosecutors did not mention publicly, from 1994 to 1997, and to perjury by denying her involvement under oath.
She was arrested in New Hampshire on July 2, where prosecutors said she was trying to evade the arrest, and is being held in a Brooklyn prison after a judge called her a flight risk.
In total, Maxwell is facing six cases – four involving child sex trafficking and two involving perjury for lying under oath about the trade during a previous trial.
If convicted on all charges, she will be behind bars for up to 35 years. Maxwell’s trial is scheduled for July.
Epstein was hanged in a Manhattan jail last August at the age of 66, awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges in Manhattan and Florida from 2002 to 2005. He also pleaded not guilty.
During her temporary incarceration, Maxwell is being watched by a team of prison psychiatrists who are compiling a secret file on her mental health, her lawyers claim.
In a letter protesting the “ uniquely incriminating conditions of her incarceration ” in a Brooklyn prison, her legal team claims she has been under constant surveillance without her consent.
Maxwell is asking the judge in her case to order that her lockup conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center be changed to be the same as those of other inmates.
Survivor Jeffrey Epstein was aired on the Crime + Investigation channel on August 25 with a double episode, followed by parts three and four the following evening.
A spokesman for Prince Andrew told The Sun they would not comment on his reported trip to Balmoral.
