European royal houses gathered today to attend King Constantine’s funeral in Windsor.

Greece’s last king died on January 10 last year at the age of 82 after months of illness, more than 50 years after his exile in a military coup.

The service at St George’s Chapel was attended by members of the Greek, British, Spanish and Danish royal families.

The Prince of Wales, 41, was expected to give a reading at the service for his late godfather, but pulled out at the last minute for personal reasons, leaving Queen Camilla to represent the British Royal Family.

King Constantine’s eldest son, Crown Prince Pavlos, led the Greek royal family to the thanksgiving service with his wife Chantal-Marie.

The head of the Greek Royal Family, 56, opted for a navy blue double-breasted suit for the occasion while his wife looked elegant in a burgundy dress and matching cape.

Meanwhile, Crown Princess Olympia, 27, cut a glamorous figure in a fitted navy blue dress with a square collar and an oversized black coat as she walked alongside her brothers Achileas-Andreas, Constantine Alexios and Odysseas-Kimon.

The model completed her elegant look with a pair of sheer navy tights and a miniature black patent leather bag.

Queen Letizia, 51, looked solemn in a knee-length navy blue dress, which she paired with matching heels and a shawl.

The mother of two arrived on the arm of her husband, King Philip, whose mother, Queen Sofia, 85, was King Constantine’s older sister.

What’s more, the disgraced former king of Spain, Juan Carlos, who now lives in the United Arab Emirates after abdicating in 2014, was also present.

King Constantine’s younger sister, Princess Irene of Denmark, 81, also attended the funeral today and was photographed sitting next to her sister Sofia.

Today’s service at St George’s Chapel is held in honor of King Charles’s close friend and second cousin, Constantine II, former ruler of Greece.
