The newspaper claimed that the decision to visit the charity by William was seen as the survival of Diana's inheritance.

It is unclear whether the couple will join Charles and his wife Camilla for an evening celebration.

A source from Kensington Palace told the sun: "As a normal working day, the duke and duchess have official appointments during the day to visit major projects in South Yorkshire.

& # 39; These were of course cleared at Clarence House to ensure that they did not clash with birthday celebrations. & # 39;

Meanwhile, Camilla has admitted that she is scratching her head when it comes to choosing a gift for Charles.

She said: "People keep asking me if I have bought a gift for him and I do not. He is the worst person.

& # 39; He has a list [containing porcelain and items for the garden] and I have been married for 13 years that it is better to keep you on the list.

& # 39; He knows what he likes and if you give him a gift, he says: & # 39; Oh, that's nice, if he does not like it at all. & # 39;

Earlier this week, the Duchess, 71, told the Mail how she struggled to delay the work-addict Charles.

She said: & # 39; The older he gets, the more passionate he becomes.

& # 39; Suddenly you reach 70 and you die. I just think he wants everything done and dusted. & # 39;
