The hitmaker then stated that she was previously unsure of how to express her emotions through her music in a measured way.
She recalled: “For a long period of time I thought, ‘What do I keep to myself, what do I post?’ “How can I talk about my stories without exposing my entire personal life?”
Dua Lipa later expressed that she had since become much more comfortable allowing her fans into her personal life through her songs.
“It’s a pretty vulnerable position to be in, whereas for this record I felt very free to tell my stories and talk about my experiences,” he said.
