Dua Lipa dropped the F-bomb just minutes after playing her opening set on the first night of the 2024 Glastonbury Festival on Friday night.
The 28-year-old Houdini singer was left verbally stunned by the reaction she received from the crowd after performing her first song of the night.
The hitmaker, who headlined the Pyramid Stage for the first time, shared her nerves and excitement by shouting ‘What the f***’ as she spoke to the crowd.
Excited, Dua said: ‘Glastonbury, what the f***! I can not believe this. I’ve dreamed about this my whole life and I can’t believe I’m up here, here with you. I am very happy to be here with you tonight. Thank you so much.’
Dua showed off her best dance moves, flaunted her daring outfits and impressed the audience with her amazing voice on stage.

But some fans were unimpressed by the foul language and flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their anger.
Some wrote: ‘Affectionate Dua Lipa – Yes darling! Until she said the F word and I switched to “Good night, sweetheart.” There is absolutely no reason for that kind of language.
‘YO “I don’t really need to see more of #Glastonbury2024, I was just interested in the concert! It’s going to end up being the highlight of the weekend, I don’t see how it can be topped. (Although it could have been a bit more of a jerk!)”
Others came to Dua’s defense and claimed she had never sworn, as they wrote: “I don’t think she said that. I think it was a swear word. #DuaLipa #Glastonbury2024.”
Dua performed a medley of hits and performed several acrobatic dance routines in a studded leather outfit as she was cheered on by thousands at Worthy Farm.
At one point, Dua got up front and close to the crowd as she sang her new hit song Physical.
Dua turned Glastonbury into a nightclub-turned-festival for an hour and 45 minutes, singing hits like Houdini, Cold Heart and even a New Rules remix.
Viewers were captivated by Dua’s two-hour performance, which included live vocals on many of the songs.
An emotional Dua said: ‘Glastonbury, wow! I can’t believe this. I’ve dreamed of this my whole life and I can’t believe I’m up here with you all. I’m so happy to be here with you all tonight. Thank you so much.’

However, some fans wondered if he was miming in his performance, as his lips seemed to be out of sync with the music at times during the show.
Those who saw the concert described as “terrible” the possibility that the One Kiss hitmaker would not sing live.

Leading to X, previously Twitter one wrote: ‘It’s a shame #DuaLipa can’t sing live. Don’t come to see Glasto and mime. ‘Foolishness’.
“Imagine paying all that money to go to Glastonbury and just standing there watching Dua Lipa mime the song and not even sing it. What a shame.”

‘Dua Lipa has some decent catchy tunes, but I’m pretty sure she’s lip-syncing. It sounds like a live vocal, but I’m not convinced she’s singing it live “right now.”
