Dua Lipa and Drew Barrymore lost their balance and nearly fell on stage while hugging in front of hundreds of fans while filming an interview for The Drew Barrymore Show.
The TV host, 49, sat down with Dua, 28, to talk about her latest album, Radical Optimism, at New York’s Talent Unlimited High School, where she also praised being single despite being in a relationship with British star Callum Turner, 34.
But while they fawned over each other and their new collective nickname ‘Drua’, they screamed and stumbled backwards.
Demonstrating their professionalism, they quickly regained their composure and laughed as they concluded the show.
“Ladies and gentlemen, radical optimism no longer exists,” he said to applause from the audience.

During the pre-recorded interview, which aired on Thursday’s show, Drew asked Dua how people should feel about being single.
The singer, who has been dating Callum for five months, responded: “I think being single is very important.”
‘I feel that very often, when we find ourselves single, we wish that our singleness would disappear in search of someone.
‘Whereas when you are alone, who are you in the silence, when you do things that only you want to do, when you take care of yourself, when you hang out with the people you love without wondering what someone will do. someone else might want from you, you are constantly taking care of yourself; that’s when you learn the most.’
She continued: ‘You are so self-sufficient that when someone comes along, you are not codependent, nor are you looking for a relationship that is codependent or that needs something from you, because you can both be independent on your own.
‘And when they’re together, it’s wonderful. Therefore, the time you spend alone is vital for your growth and very important to enjoy the time you have with yourself.’
Drew spoke with Dua about her new album Radical Optimism at Talent Unlimited High School in New York.
The host quizzed the pop star about being single, which Dua said is “very important.”

The couple sat down for the interview on April 26, although the conversation was not televised until May 16.
Dua then admitted that she’s been on a journey to learn to love herself.
“When you’re younger, you have all kinds of insecurities and you learn to love yourself every day,” she said.
“But for me, I think, if I can love myself a little more every day, be grateful for my body that brought me here, that allows me to do what I love, that allows me to travel and dance and perform.” , I should be grateful for that.
“And you choose something that you love about yourself and how you are with other people.”
