Judge John Pickering was imprisoned in the NSW court for four years and nine months on Friday, with a non-conditional period of two years and five months.

"There is a complete loss of control, probably caused by alcohol, certainly caused by anger, and she had the facility – that is, a motor vehicle – and in her mood and anger the person who upset her could knock down," Judge Pickering said.

Coleman spent more than a month in the hospital, but died in unrelated circumstances in April 2018.
