At least 50 pounds of cocaine stamped ‘CR7’ after Portuguese star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was seized from an apartment in New York City, the Drug Enforcement Administration announced.
The DEA said agents and investigators were watching two people as part of an ongoing investigation when they raided an apartment in Queens on Monday.
Officers saw Christopher Jones, 43, enter the apartment building empty-handed and later leave with a suitcase.
He then put the suitcase in a vehicle and drove off before being stopped in the possession of $ 200,000 a few blocks away.

Moments later, officers and investigators used a search warrant after they saw Wykim Williams, 43, standing outside apartment # 706 in the same building that Jones had left and discovered 50 packs of cocaine.
Each block of cocaine featured the ‘CR7’ branding – a marking synonymous with the international soccer star who also plays for Juventus in the Italian Serie A league.
An additional search of the apartment resulted in authorities hiding $ 10,000 in a closet and other parts of the home.
The DEA said it had confiscated a Thunder Pro Compact 45ACP pistol and other items used to process the distribution of large quantities of drugs in addition to a money counter.

Jones and Williams were taken to court on Tuesday. Cash bail of $ 150,000 was set for Jones and $ 250,000 for Williams.
