This is the dramatic moment when a driver in southern China narrowly avoided being mowed by a truck that got out of control.
CCTV footage, filmed in Sanming City, Fujian Province on Sept. 20, shows a red truck crashing into a row of stationary cars.
The clip opens with the man standing next to his black car with the door open as if trying to see what has brought traffic to a halt.
Suddenly he turns around as if reacting to a loud noise, before running away from his car into a concrete forecourt.
Footage, filmed in the town of Sanming, Fujian Province on Sept. 20, shows a truck suddenly crashing into a line of stationary cars (Pictured: driver jumping out of the road)
In the clip, a driver standing next to his car jumps to the side just as the red truck plows into the line of traffic
A split second later, the truck pulling a fully loaded trailer drives a white car off its path and then shunts a gold taxi into the man’s car, causing it to spin sideways.
The two cars are pushed several meters along the road and collide with more vehicles in front before the truck comes to a stop.
The happy driver surveys the scene as others get out of their battered vehicles.
Other bystanders quickly join him before the driver of the truck, which is believed to have had a brake, climbs out of the vehicle.
A second video shows rescuers using a hammer to shatter the windshield of the gold taxi, which has jammed sideways over the front of the truck.
The car is wedged tightly between the truck and the crumpled cars in front, trapping the driver inside.
In another clip, a male driver (right) has to climb out of his broken windshield (left) after getting trapped in the crumpled car
They eventually manage to pull the broken windshield out of the frame and the driver climbs out seemingly unharmed.
Amazingly, no casualties have been reported in the pile under investigation, according to local media.
