Drew Sidora’s sudden and shocking divorce from husband Ralph Pittman is filmed by Real Housewives of Atlanta producers.
It was reported by TMZ that camera crews headed to Atlanta to capture the disbandment, even though filming on the 15th season wrapped in January.
The 37-year-old television personality has already recorded a confessional interview detailing what led to her breakup.
The outlet noted that the other castmates — including Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss and Sheree Whitfield — are also being interviewed.
It comes just days after Sidora filed for divorce from her husband of eight years, alleging abuse and infidelity.
In plain sight: Drew Sidora’s divorce from husband Ralph Pittman is being filmed for the next RHOA season, TMZ reported Sunday; seen in October 2022
Ralph’s perspective on the fallout will not be filmed for the upcoming season and it was reported that the father of two, 40, is currently still living with Drew.
Hours after news broke that Sidora had filed for divorce, it was revealed that she claimed in documents that Pittman was a “serial cheater” in the marriage.
She added in the amended divorce suit that she can no longer tolerate “ongoing blatant disrespect and mental abuse” from Pittman.
The documents also allege that some of the women Pittman cheated on Sidora with even sent screenshots of “sexts” between them and her now-ex.
Sidora also claims that Pittman has been physical with her, stating last month that he snatched the phone from her hand, causing it to fall and break, with Pittman allegedly telling her he’s paying for the phone so it’s his.
The new documents also allege that after Pittman began becoming physically aggressive, she considered taking their young children — Machai, seven, Aniya, five, and her 11-year-old son Josiah from a previous relationship — from Atlanta to her hometown of Chicago.
She also claims that he has been interfering with her money, saying that he has debited “a large sum of money” from her account.
Sidora also revealed that they tried couples counseling, though it didn’t work, and Pittman even asked her to notify him if she was going to file for divorce, insisting that he even let her file first.
Money: Drew has reportedly already filmed a confessional, despite filming for the next season wrapping up in January. She claims that Ralph has alleged that Ralph meddled with her money, saying that he deducted “a large sum of money” from her account.
Abuse: She added in her amended divorce suit that she can no longer tolerate Pittman’s “ongoing blatant disrespect and mental abuse”
Both Sidora and Pittman eventually filed for divorce on the same day, Feb. 27, but Sidora filed an hour before Pittman did.
Sidora is seeking primary physical and joint legal custody of their two children, and while they both filed at about the same time, they both list different dates of divorce.
Sidora claims February 23 was the date of divorce, while Pittman says it was February 19, just days after Sidora threw Pittman a lavish 40th birthday party on February 13.
Sidora’s spokesperson told DailyMail.com: “For three years, the Pittmans’ welcomed millions of viewers into their home as they struggled to mend their marriage.
“Despite obvious differences, they agree that their marriage has broken down irretrievably and are going their separate ways,” the statement concluded.
Pittman said in his divorce filing that he refuses to pay spousal support because she makes enough money from her reality show.
He also claimed that she did not contribute financially to the household for most of their relationship.
Pittman is looking for his 2018 Porsche Taycan and Cadillac, and Sidora her 2021 Cadillac.
The relationship issues were laid out for viewers of RHOA from December 2020 when they agreed to go to couples counseling during an episode of the Bravo reality series.
“You know, we haven’t really worked things out. We just decided to put it on the table,” Drew admitted during a confession in the episode.
Physical: The new documents also allege that after Pittman began to become physically aggressive, she considered taking their young children — Machai, 7, Aniya, 5, and her 11-year-old son Josiah from a previous relationship — from Atlanta to her hometown of Chicago .
“Which is driving me crazy right now. We don’t really talk about it and we don’t have the tools to actually solve it. So we just kind of hang out and get along until the next crazy fight,” she added.
“Ralph and I are in the process of buying a new house, my first house I’ve ever bought, so I’m super excited. It’s literally right around the corner from where we live now and it’s over 9,000 square feet so we can definitely stay in our corner if we need to,” she explained.
As they drove to their new place, Ralph admitted that he “can get things wrong,” while Drew said she contacted a marriage counselor.
“I called a counselor who works with couples. Honestly, if we’re going to live in this house, I don’t want to bring our past into this house,” she said. “I want this to be a house we love, where we can see our kids grow up, you know?”
