Drew Barrymore has mentioned that she will turn 50 this year.

The actress and television host, who will turn 50 on February 22, spoke in the February/March issue of AARP Magazine.

“I feel so relieved that I literally don’t feel like I’m constantly beating myself up, or worrying about the future, or freaking out about this,” she said in an emotional interview with the publication.

“My whole life I’ve been worried and stressed,” she explained, while still being “happy and having the time of my life and I never would have imagined I would feel peace.”

He also talked about dating after announcing on his talk show Thursday that he is not dating at the moment.

Barrymore told AARP that her daughters encourage her to date, but explained, “I also know how I felt when men were around when I was little; I didn’t feel safe, so I’m probably overly cautious about those experiences.”

‘I just knew that my life was heavy, painful and sad… In the end, thank God, I got out of it. I had two children and I had to figure it out.’
