After drawing attention following her hands-on interview with Martha Stewart, 84, this week, viewers couldn’t help but feel some secondhand embarrassment for the talk show host.
The interview went a little off topic when Barrymore, 49, bit her finger and jokingly asked Martha, “What makes you soft and sticky?” The question, and Barrymore’s subsequent attempt to fondle Stewart, led the cookbook author to playfully shove the host.

“It’s nice,” Martha confirmed.
‘When someone walks in…’ Drew continued, but before she could complete her sentence, Martha rejected her as she said, ‘you’re the wrong gender!’
“I know, I know,” the ET actress relented as she plopped down dramatically on the couch.
“Though, the way things are going with men, Martha, I’m not so sure anymore.”
However, the awkward moment soon ended when one of Drew’s dogs approached the couch, creating a nice distraction.
