drew Barrymore confessed to a dirty X-rated mistake from yesteryear that almost made his sex life public for everyone to see and read.
During Wednesday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, The host and her guests used a news article as a talking point to discuss a trend involving millennial women keeping lists of people they’ve had sex with on their phones.
Of the five, only Barrymore raised her hand to indicate that she had, in fact, made a sex list, which happened just over 20 years ago, when she starred with Ben Stiller in the black comedy film Duplex (2003), which also produced.
“I made a list and it was already in the past,” he told the group that included his cohort Ross Matthews, Tony Dokoupil, Nate Burleson and CBS Mornings’ Vladimir Duthiers. ‘I did it with paper and pen. I am the most disorganized person, I lose everything. I left it at someone’s house.
“I was a producer on a movie that Danny DeVito was directing and so I wrote the list on the back of a set of notes for the movie,” she admitted, before adding, “So I left it at Danny DeVito’s house.”
Drew Barrymore, 49, came clean and admitted that she made lists of people she had had sex with, only to reveal that she lost that list while meeting with the director of a movie she was producing.

“Some lists have names in chronological order, while some more chaotic ones have nicknames to remember who they were,” Burleson, 42, explained of the reported trend in sex lists.
He added: “Dating experts say these lists have the ability to provide much more than naysayers may think.”
“So looking back and seeing who you slept with or who you didn’t sleep with can tell you a lot about what was going on in your life at the time,” the journalist shared on stage in the conversation.
As the four people on set not named Drew Barrymore sat on the edges of their seats waiting to hear how this all unfolded, the host said she finally admitted the mishap to DeVito.
“He came on the show and I was like, ‘I left my sex list at your house,'” the Batman Forever actress said while laughing out loud with her face in the palm of her hands.
When asked if she shared any potentially embarrassing and juicy details on her list, Barrymore shook her head, while revealing a shy side to her personality.
‘No, they were names,’ she revealed, before clarifying: ‘Full names,’ she said while looking a little mischievous with a sly smile and a finger placed on her lips.
She set out to reveal: “This was the early 2000s and we were still working on foldable phones, so there were no attacks back then.”

Vladimir Duthiers, 54, and Nate Burleson, 42, were stunned when the host revealed she made her sex list but lost it while at Danny DeVito’s house in 2002.
Turns out he had nothing to worry about after DeVito, who also narrated Duplex, joked about the slip-up during his appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in September 2022.
After being asked if the former Taxi and Cheer actor ever found his list in his house, DeVito, 79, joked, “I was actually meaning to talk to you about this.” Some of the names that appear in that… I made a copy and it will be in my autobiography.’
After laughing a few times at his expense, the Twins star told him the real story: “No, I never ran into that,” he finally admitted. ‘I’ve never seen him. Your secret is safe with me.’

Barrymore says she admitted to DeVito about her mishap, and at first he joked about going public, but then reassured her by revealing that he never found her sex list.
“It’s a reminder of my past mistakes and my recent enthusiasm,” one woman shared, while another does it to “keep track and remember fun stories and important lessons.”
It turned out that many women kept a list “as a self-development exercise” to evaluate how far they had come in their lives.
