Draymond earns tech for ‘unsportsmanlike flail' in Warriors-Thunder

Draymon Green came close to replicating an incident from last season that resulted in a lengthy suspension.

In the middle of the fourth quarter of Warriors victory 127-116 On the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night at the Paycom Center, Green and Lu Dort tangled and the Golden State forward swung his arm, nearly connecting with Dort’s head.

The referees reviewed the play and ultimately called a technical foul on Green for an “unsportsmanlike flail.”

Last season, Green made a similar move and hit Phoenix Suns big man Jusuf Nurkić in the head, resulting in the NBA suspends four-time champion indefinitely.

The punishment lasted 12 games, and Green missed a few more games as he regained his playing condition.

Green finished the win with eight points, 11 assists and four rebounds in 31 minutes of action on Sunday.

It’s unclear if Green’s latest action will lead to disciplinary action from the NBA, but his record could have the league at least talking about it.
