This is the dramatic moment a plane suddenly brakes while accelerating down a runway to take off.
The Jet 2 spacecraft braked hard after accelerating at full throttle, kicking up clouds of dust.
But the plane appeared to stop safely on the runway.
The incident apparently forced another plane to turn around and delay landing.
There was said to be an “airspeed indication issue” where there were false readings on the pilot’s display.
The incident occurred today shortly before 3pm at Manchester Airport.
According to the person who recorded the shocking video, the plane took off again five hours later.

A third added: “We were told the flights had not left before 4pm and there is now a huge queue.” We’re stuck on a plane on the tarmac in Naples and we’ve been told there could be a delay of up to three hours.’
The Met Office has not yet issued a weather warning for fog but said it will monitor conditions overnight.
A Nats spokesperson said: “Due to widespread fog, temporary restrictions on air traffic are in place today at a number of airports across the UK. These types of restrictions are only in place to maintain safety.
‘We continue to monitor the situation and have a Met Office expert embedded in our operation to ensure we have the latest information available. “Our teams are working closely with airports and airlines to minimize disruption.”
One passenger inside Gatwick told MailOnline: “If my flight to France was canceled at the last minute, the staff couldn’t let us leave the airport because there weren’t enough crew for it.”
“Hundreds of families were very confused about where to go because 4 other flights to Belfast, Oslo and elsewhere were canceled at the same time.”
